Don't forget to come to River Fire in Putnam on Saturday, August 10, 2013!

If you like a good time, which is FREE by the way, then you must visit downtown Putnam on Saturday, August 10th, 2013 for a River Fire.

There are twenty pots set out in the Quinebaug River earlier in the summer, and on Saturday night, they will be filled over and over again with wood and lit afire.

Music, provided by WINY Radio, plays calmly and romantically as the fires burn.

What an atmosphere. So relaxing, picturesque, and rewarding to attend this event.

Although the idea of Putnam's River Fire is similar to some other events of the same type, it is truly unique. You must come and check it out. Bring lawn chairs or blankets, because you will want to sit and soak it all in.

See you in Rotary Park by the crackling fires.

I am a Putnamaniac that looks forward to our River Fires and loves every minute of them!
