So much wine, so little time!

I'm not sure if you know that the Quiet Corner of Northeast CT is deep in wine country.

It is!

We are lucky to have many wineries nearby, and although I have yet to visit any of them, they are on "my list".

Two that are very close are:
Taylor Brooke Winery  and
Sharpe Hill Vineyard

Check out their websites, and check out their wines, as I am about to do with Sharpe Hill's Red Seraph:
A fine Chianti style red wine made from a blend of St. Croix and Merlot grapes. This ruby colored red wine is richly complex and smooth. It is a perfect accompaniment to beef, lamb and pasta dishes.
The Red Seraph has received more than 21 medals including:
Gold Medal - 2007 & 2008 Tasters Guild International Wine Judging
Mmmm, mmmm good after a great week of work!

I am a Putnamaniac because we have so many great local wineries!
