Jesus Christ, not the only Superstar at the Complex!

I had never seen the rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, before the other night.

I am thrilled that my first time seeing it was at the Black Box Theater @ the Complex, right here in Putnam.

This is the 3rd show I've enjoyed at this theater. So much so that now 2 days later, I keep thinking about it.

It is a very small theater, like so small that there are 3 rows. You can see into the actors eyes.

The Complex does not ever take on an easy challenge. They attack complex projects and succeed with flying colors! I can only imagine that is why they chose "Complex" as the name for their theater.

As with the Bradley Theater, just down the street from the Complex, there are tons of locals performing. The talent that played Mary Magdelene works for Putnam Bank, and I've had the pleasure to volunteer with her and her hubby at the Habitat ReStore. Man, can she sing! (Her famous song is "I don't know how to love him").  Just like the rest of the cast, outstanding.

I am a Putnamaniac because Jesus Christ in not the only Superstar at the theaters in town!
