Community Spirit

 Community Spirit was running high in our neighborhood today, with our first ever Condo-wide yard sale. Gorgeous day! Crisp and fresh air!

 

In general, my neighbors are private folks, and that suits me fine. Probably why we all get along.

 

I am not a great "one-on-one, need to be with someone all the time" type of person. Casual acquaintances are so much more suitable and comfortable for me. That way of life has it downfalls and moments of loneliness, but, I gotta be me. 

Today's camaraderie and companionship were very enjoyable. It was nice to see everyone buzzing around their garage & driveway areas working the crowds, and we had crowds! When times were slow, we visited and talked with each other.

It was great to see all my neighbors and share smiles and pride in our community. Although it is said "Pride cometh before a fall", today both pride and spirit came on a beautiful fall day!
