What a treat I had tonight.
I was working at a friend's house, in her home office. She lives in beautiful Woodstock, CT, which is right next to me in Putnam. So although I am a Putnamaniac, Woodstock sure ranks high up there on my list of favorite places as well, since it is about 2 miles from my house to her's.
Leaving her cozy home, I entered into a more cozy summer evening. Peaceful, pitch dark, quiet, heavenly.
As I started the short drive home, the skies lit up with heat lightning putting on a show somewhere off in the distance.
So gorgeous, so peaceful.
