Big Dad, Little Son, shoveling some quality time - Priceless!

It is perfect spring jogging weather today, and since I'd planned a new route for myself shortly after tucking myself in my bed last night, I was ready to go this morning.

The nice thing about doing whatever it is you need and/or choose to do to keep yourself sane, is that it really works! Jogging does it for me. I get to think, plan, set goals, just space out. It is very quality time that I spend with myself.

Some days you get some big bonuses - like today.

As I was loping through the industrial park, I glanced over and saw a father and young son (looked about 2-3 years old) shoveling dirt into the bucket of a loader. Dad had a big shovel. Son had a little shovel. I am sure this is a chore the father would not like, except for the fun of having his son there with him. As for the son, it is pretty clear he'd be happy doing anything with his father. Priceless!

I am so glad I go out and jog. I get a lot of joy out of it! I can only hope that you enjoy your quality time with yourself as much as I do mine.

I am a Putnamaniac that saw a priceless sight today - a father and young son shoveling side by side!
