Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more! Do you remember the Banana Splits?

Going way back in the time machine..... Do you remember the Banana Splits Show??

I remember very little about the show, however, I can sing the song pretty much by heart.

I'm not sure why the Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork song sticks in my head so well, but I do remember saving up enough boxtops from some cereal to send away for a 45 record of this song. I don't even think it was vinyl, it was some kind of bendable cardboardy type of material. And I LOVED it!!! Clearly I played it over and over and over again.

So, I must leave you now...over hill and highways my banana buggy goes...

I am a Putnamaniac because I love the Banana Splits and especially their theme song!
