Our family knows how to have silly, simple, cheap fun.

With the guidance of our momma, we've used our imaginations for years, since money was scarce back in the day.

Although we have all surpassed our childhood imaginations in providing good lives for ourselves, we continue the silly, simple, cheap fun.

Witness the family Memorial Day cookout.  Mom got her friend to cut up a bunch of blocks of wood, and voila ~ we had a gigantic jenga game! 3 teams of 3 removed and stacked... for a long time... much longer than any of us expected ~ until the tower fell!

The classic example of bringing home a big box for a kid to play with. That is all we really need, isn't it?
