Oh Tidings of Comfort and Joy!

One of the most pleasant surprises I have found in Putnam is that I have become a bit more comfortable with people.

I can work and talk work the pants off anyone, but on a social level, I am very awkward in "one-to-one" situations.

People have told me this a lot over the years, and as Pats Coach Bill Belichek would say "it is what it is". I stuck to myself and accepted the fact that I am not a "people person".

Yet something in Putnamania - perhaps the great, friendly, accepting people - puts me at ease.

Today I invited myself on over for a "pop-in" to visit some friends...just like that! I would NEVER do that much in the past...

Wow - imagine that I am singing great tidings of comfort and joy of visiting with people after all these years!

I am a Putnamaniac because I am surrounded by outstanding, top-notch people here!
