Renegade Resurrection and The Boys of Summer!

Plants resurrected for two (fushia) and three seasons (geraniums) delight me tonight.  I've cut them back in the fall and bring them in the basement for the winter, and voila, they experience resurrection every summer.

As I admire my Renegade Garden after a long day at work, on a hot summer evening, I hear hearty & rowdy cheers from what must be the most edge of your seat exciting little league game going on across the river in Recreation Park. The real boys of summer are playing there.

Before I head inside to watch the Sox and listen to my boy of summer for ever and always, Jerry Remy, I will enjoy a last look at the bluey/purpley lobelia.... I simply love it....life should be this bluey and purpley every day.
