*The Bradley Theater, only about a mile or so away from my home, offering great local theater. And I mean GREAT local theater.
*Music, musicals, singing, dancing.... including such great flicks as The Sound of Music.
*Having season tickets to The Bradley Theater and a seat to see The Sound of Music next Friday night.
*Seeing something as very simple as a flashmob appearing out of nowhere and shocking a bunch of complacent/bored/harried people into genuinely smiling folks, really enjoying the moment.

Life should be full of more surprising joys like this.
I am a Putnamaniac that has quite a few favorite things - and one of the best is seeing people surprised and with joy written all over their faces!
