Putnam PD has great officers, including the 4 footed kind!

Putnam has very interesting police officers...including Manny Quin, and not only one - but two 4 footed members.

As the existing canine, Cero, is advancing in his years of service, an officer thought it may be time to start planning and fund raising for a new canine. These requests were answered and goals fulfilled by the ever generous townsfolk of Putnamania and surrounding areas within a month!

The owner of Aron’s kennel gave the $6,200 puppy to the department for free).

In ONE MONTH enough was raised to support and train Aron, the new 4 footed officer, plus a car was donated for 3 years, plus the kennel donated the dog himself after learning of the great generosity of our area.

I find this amazing! But not really....Putnamaniacs always chip in and pull together for whatever need we have.
