Driving home from work in rural Northeast CT, you sometimes get stuck behind a tractor.
This week, I was about 3rd in a long line of cars behind a big Allis Chalmers tractor (like the one in the picture below). The tractor was towing something even bigger behind it - all this occurring at approximately the Rt 6 and Rt 169 intersection in Brooklyn, not far from the Brooklyn Fair.
On the side of the road next to the tractor was this out of shape gentleman, riding a Pee Wee Herman like bike:
It was really a race! The bike guy was peddling and huffing and puffing like crazy - and keeping up with the tractor - and therefore also keeping up with all of us cars rolling along at a break neck speed of less than 10 miles an hour.
Somehow as this scene played out in front of me it made me laugh my head off! It was great entertainment!
I hope if you are stuck in traffic that you are this well entertained!
I am a Putnamaniac that loves the tractor vs bike vs auto races in Northeast CT!
