Tattooed Librarians... the new trend and my friend Kat was a trendsetter!

A while back the State of TX Librarians Association put out a fundraising calendar - featuring their tattooed librarians! Check out that story here on ABC.com.

New England does not like missing out on something cool like this, and the MA Library Association is now in the planning and production stages of their own Tattooed Librarians calendar.

My marvelously sweet & talented friend, Kat, who is the children's librarian at the Pearle L. Crawford Memorial Library in Dudley, MA is tattooed to the hilt! She is like a moving art show. And guess what, she is going to be in the calendar!

I am so glad that she applied to be in this calendar for so many reasons. She is one of the most beautiful and caring people that I know. Her dedication to family, friends, and work are extraordinary! Now she will represent her love for tattoos and self expression, the Pearle L. Crawford Memorial Library, as well as raising money for the MA LibraryAssociation.
