My under 8 and over 80 rule, with exceptions to that rule!

I have a simple rule I live by.... not really so much a rule as how things seem to work out.

Naturally I seem to get along perfectly with people under age 8 and over age 80.

Why???

Both groups are usually quite honest, they don't fall for fake people trying to impress them, they take you for what you are, you can share fart jokes with them, they don't care what you are wearing or if your hair is a mess, they tell you they like your mustache, and they can be a lot of fun.

There are exceptions to this rule, of course.  I like lots of other folks that are in between that more difficult of age groups for me, ranging from 9-79, but if you fit the description above, then we get along just fine!

How do you feel about this? Do you find this is also a good equation for you?

I am a Putnamaniac that abides by the under 8 and over 80 rule, with some fine exceptions!
