There is neverending beautiful scenery everywhere in Northeast, CT, and it does not matter what the time of year.
This is a look up the Quinebaug River at a little walking bridge, along the River Trail.
It is late fall, and although all the leaves and color of early fall have left us, look at the blues of the sky and the river. The reflection of the bridge in the river is simply artwork in and of itself.
Earlier this day I had jogged past and enjoyed the view. I am glad to be a slogger (slow jogger) as you can really appreciate the sights at that speed. It was so lovely, I drove by a bit later to capture this picture. At that moment, a flock of bluebirds fluttered by. Outstanding!
I hope that you enjoy sights like this every day! If not, the Quiet Corner welcomes you with open arms and much beauty.
I am a Putnamaniac because I love to reflect on the beauty that surrounds me everywhere!
