Thank you, thank you to a generous young man, and to his parents for raising him to know a good deed goes a million miles!

I just can never get over the great people I have met in my life. GREAT PEOPLE!!!

There was a girl on my high school basketball team. She was a little spitfire, who never gave up, believed in team effort (in many other sports as well as basketball), and was an all around good person.

Turns out she married a guy we went to school with, and he was cut from the same cloth. The only difference is she was cut a size XS and he was size XL. They had a few sized XL sons.

This is what she posted on facebook today about one of her fine offspring:
(Hold onto your horses, because this is awesome....):
"My son goes to college full time, works part time. He's pockets are not weighted down with money, but his heart is full of compassion and appreciation for deserving people. He works at the local pizza shop. Today a marine and his little girl came in for lunch. Wes went over to thank him for his service to our country and told him he would like to pay for their meals in appreciation for his sacrifice. The marine said Wes made his day. My heart is full of pride."
This makes me so happy for not only my friend, her husband, her son, that marine and his little daughter, but for all of mankind. How can you ever beat a story like this? If you look around in your life, I hope you will be happily astonished in the same fashion.
You've been so kind and generous, I don't know how you keep on giving
For your kindness I'm in debt to you
For your selflessness, my admiration
For everything you've done, you know I'm bound, I'm bound to
thank you for it....

I am a Putnamaniac that is blown away by the amazing people that exist in this world, and I am lucky to know so many of them!
