There is a great song with these words, and man, it says it all!
What a diff'rence a day made
Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Where there used to be rain
My yesterday was blue, dear
Today I'm part of you, dear
My lonely nights are through, dear
Since you said you were mine
Lord what a diff'rence a day makes
There's a rainbow before me
Skies above can't be stormy
Since that moment of bliss, that thrilling kiss
It's heaven when you, find romance on your menu
What a diff'rence a day made
And the difference is you
Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Where there used to be rain
My yesterday was blue, dear
Today I'm part of you, dear
My lonely nights are through, dear
Since you said you were mine
Lord what a diff'rence a day makes
There's a rainbow before me
Skies above can't be stormy
Since that moment of bliss, that thrilling kiss
It's heaven when you, find romance on your menu
What a diff'rence a day made
And the difference is you
Today this song kept popping into my head.
Yesterday morning I walked to work with my umbrella sheltering me from hail, sleet, cold, wind.
Today I strolled along on a sunny and mild day, with birds singing, windows rolled down, music playing, warmth and leisure on everyone's mind.... Smiles on everyone's lips.
Hope is indeed in the air, and you can make your own difference ~ to yourself certainly, and perhaps others you unknowingly touch!
It is always best to remember that a day can make a big difference... 24 little hours. It can change attitudes, provide hope, present another outlook. When times get tough, remember, there is always another day.
I am a Putnamaniac that loves the difference a day can make!
