No way!
There is no truth to the rumor that I am going to refinish my lower level with gaudy, ugly patterned carpet, block out all natural light, pipe in loud "BING - BONG" noises on top of mind numbing muzak, offer watered down drinks, take most of your money, yet throw you a few coins once in while to keep you desperately hopeful in a casino named PutnamaniaMANIA.
The entire condo neighbor would certainly object, since it breaks more rules than a Renegade would dare to break.
It is also not necessary, since Putnam and Northeast CT have so much other superior entertainment to offer and for you to enjoy.
There are local theaters like the Bradley Playhouse, The Complex, The Little Theater on Broadstreet.
Live music is in fine tune at the Stomping Ground and at Bella's Open Mic Nights.
Drinks and dining can tickle your tastebuds at the Courthouse Bar & Grille, Bella's, 85 Main, Victoria Station, Someplace Special, and more.
Nature abounds for hiking, biking, kayaking, walking, fishing... and The Last Green Valley can help you find just what you are looking for in those departments, as well as all other farming, agricultural, orchards, and antiquing opportunities.

So I guess you can see why Putnam does not need a casino, even one named PutnamaniaMANIA. because there is plenty more solid stuff going on here!
