North vs South ~ what a difference a direction makes! (Especially in gardening)

It is amazing what a difference in growth there is depending on what side of the house your gardens are on or which direction they are facing.

Take a look at the toasty south facing side of my house. Daffodils and sedum popping up. (And they have recovered since their climb out of a few recent snow coverings).

Chilly, darker north facing side of my house. Snow! Enough all ready - get outta here!

Choose wisely what you plant and where. Better yet, choose wisely when buying a home. Notice which direction it faces and whether it will be warmer and brighter naturally by the way it faces. Then, choose what suits your likes!
