Do you always have a "to-do" list and a schedule to stick to?
My most familiar internal dialogue is "just one more thing, then I will sit down".
Of course, every time I finish "the list", I do one more thing, then I think of another, and another, and another.
It works better for me to keep on doing them, because if I try to sit down before they are done, I will just think about them and drive myself crazy. It works for me to just do it, whatever it is.
It is understood that this behavior is not for everyone, and that is just fine.
When I am "done", I will sit down and be able to relax.
Shouldn't you stick with what works for you, makes you tick, and in fact keeps you happy?
