Circle of flirting!

This looks like an innocent little circular walkway here in Putnam.

It is not innocent at all. It seems to inspire flirting and romance!

Recently I saw a middle aged couple out for their walk. As they turned off of the Church Street sidewalk and approached this circle, the woman split off to the left, breaking into a little jog, looking back at her manly counterpart, clearly challenging him to a race to where the circle once again meets the sidewalk. He picked up his pace, too, even though he was on the shorter section of concrete. They were both smiling brilliantly. They met up shortly, laughing and flirting like teenagers.

It was refreshing and inspirational to see this couple enjoying themselves so.

I'm going to keep my eyes on this area and see if this trend continues. Perhaps it is the Putnam version of the Fountain of Youth ~ The Circle of Flirting and Love!
