Kids, a hill to roll down, and a great concrete guy...

My neighbor and I are getting a concrete patio poured behind our condos this week. It will really neaten up our small grassless "lawn" area back there. 

The great concrete guy came over with his two young daughters to go over the final project yesterday.

Meanwhile, I taught the girls how to make a whistle out of an acorn base...and got them to run up my little hill and roll down it, over and over and over again. Hair was tangled and full of grass, and peals of laughter & giggles ripped the air! What a blast.

Even with all the fancy toys there are nowadays, a good old hill on a sunny day is more fun than any amount of money can buy!

So find a hill and get rolling!
