The owner of Vegware in Danielson, CT, is also a member of The Last Green Valley.
He wanted to do something to help and bring attention to The Last Green Valley.
And do something, he did.
The Last Green Festival was born.
In words from their website, this event is:a 3 day outdoor music and arts festival in Brooklyn, CT. The festival will work to promote sustainability and greener living as well as promote preservation of our region. Our mission to provide education on more sustainable options for greener living will include: Exhibitors, Demonstrations, Public Speakers, Music, Art, Film and a variety of Food and Retail Vendors.
Yup ~ ONE guy got this rolling! And although he recruited a ton of help, he proved one person can make a difference. I hope The Last Green Festival becomes an annual affair.
The weather was certainly not with us for this weekend, but there is no controlling Mother Nature.
