Pause for PAWS

PAWS, Pound Animals Worth Saving, is a pretty astonishing group.

I mean, there are stray cats EVERYWHERE. Talk about multiplying like rabbits. They should have made that expression "multiplying like felines".

My coworker & his fine girlfriend have recently taken in a stray that was showing up at their doorstep and begging sweetly for a warm home.

So, if you are looking for a cat, they are not hard to find. It seems everyone either has or knows someone that is looking to match a cat with a home.

That is why PAWS is astonishing in their undertakings as being not only a responsible cat shelter, but in their efforts to ensure all the cats are up to date health wise AND placing them all in homes. This seems an almost insurmountable task and close to saintly.

PAWS is based at Windy Acres Florist on Rt 171 in Woodstock. They have and always need more volunteers and donations- so contact them if you love cats and want to help.
