What is it all about?
Basically it is to bring attention to Heart Health, specifically Women's Heart Health.
You can learn more here, about this #1 killer. I am sure you also know both women and men affected by it.
Some facts from the website:
Since the first National Wear Red Day 10 years ago, tremendous strides have been made in the fight against heart disease in women, including:
*21% fewer women dying from heart disease
*23% more women aware that it's their No. 1 health threat
So, don't only wear something RED tomorrow, but take care of your heart every single day.
After all, without our heart pumping, we are not pumping.
I am a Putnamaniac that wants everyone to WEAR RED tomorrow and work on having a healthy heart EVERY DAY!
