Volunteer Crow! She is happy to join in the annual Scarecrow Contest!

Every fall the Putnam Business Association holds a scarecrow contest.

It is a BLAST to check out all the inventive scarecrows around town.

I like to join in and do a crow myself, and this year I chose to do a Volunteer Crow!

(Note the Volunteer Crow's arms are raised in joy AND in the shape of a V -
for Volunteer Crow, of course!)

Why a Volunteer Crow, you might ask?

Well, because I like to volunteer!

I volunteer for: The Last Green Valley, The Bradley Playhouse, Daily Bread, and I volunteered for years with Habitat for Humanity in their ReStore. Now I am a staff member of Habitat for Humanity of Eastern CT, and we rely on the assistance of volunteers in many capacities to succeed in reaching our goal of building simple, decent, and affordable housing in our community.

I know the value of good volunteers.

Find  your passion and pay it forward by volunteering in your community, just like my friend, the Volunteer Crow!

I am a Putnamaniac that loves to volunteer and knows the value of quality, dependable volunteers!
